The service
Globely is a free collection of geography puzzles provided by the Globely team for entertainment. It is offered as it is, with no guarantee that it will be available at any particular time, that puzzles will be free of errors, or that it will keep working the way it does today. Games may be changed, added or removed.
Acceptable use
You may play the games, share your results and link to the site freely. You may not:
- attempt to disrupt the site or the servers it runs on;
- use automated systems to hammer the site with requests;
- republish the site's code, artwork or written content as your own;
- frame the site inside another site in a way that hides where it came from.
Intellectual property
The design, written content, game code and artwork on Globely belong to their author. The underlying geographic data comes from Natural Earth and is in the public domain; flag designs are in the public domain as national symbols. Nothing here claims ownership of any national flag or of the boundary data.
Accuracy
Globely is a game, not a reference work. Borders, country names and distances are drawn from public datasets and are presented for play rather than for any official, legal, navigational or educational purpose. Don't rely on it for anything that matters.
Advertising
The site may display third-party advertising. Adverts and any sites they lead to are not under the control of Globely, and their appearance is not an endorsement.
Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the operator of Globely is not liable for any loss or damage arising from use of the site, including from errors in the data or interruptions to the service.
Changes
These terms may be updated; the date at the top shows when they last were. Continuing to use the site after a change means accepting the new version.
